The award winning, critically acclaimed Orange Tiny Terror was only launched eighteen months ago and after selling over ten thousand units, has proven to be one of the most in-demand amps in the world. During this time period Orange has been under sustained pressure from guitarists, studios and journalist to launch a Tiny Terror combo and now Orange can announce they will debut the new Tiny Terror combo at the forthcoming Messe show.

Part of the appeal of the Tiny Terror was that its clever design which packed everything into something not much more than the size of a lunch box and weighing in at only a few pounds. Orange have kept to the same concept in designing the combo version by keeping it extremely compact, with a look  very reminiscent of classic 70’s Orange OTR combo’s. As with the head it is competitively priced and most importantly the unique signature tone is every bit as good as the original.

Continuing their 40th anniversary celebrations, Orange Amps have re-launched their website incorporating new anniversary graphics and a whole host of new and exciting features. With a full re-design the all-new website is packed with great new user friendly search facilities, loads more pictures and a wealth of new information.

Fully updated with a new product guide, the site now has a comprehensive easy to access product information section, including new image gallery, detailed specs and a comprehensive site search resource.

The website incorporates fantastic new pictures on it’s front page including Jim Root, Madonna, Prince and historic photo’s of Stevie Wonder using an Orange Amp. In fact the whole artist section has been completely overhauled and an extensive artist database has been complied to include a picture and biography for every artist, as well as listing the gear they are using. Soon to be added will be MP3 clips of the artists.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World

Still Rules..

Even Ronald Orzabal, the band’s co-founders, never realized this song would rule the world for many decades. Orzabal did not want to include it in the album as he felt it did not fit the album, “Songs from the Big Chair”. It was the bands producer Chris Hughes who persuaded Orzabal to try recoding the song. It was the last song to be included in the album.

“Songs from the Big Chair” was Tears for Fears’s ninth album. The British pop and rock band did have many songs in the UK top 40 charts before. However in 1985, this song reached the top like never before. Peaking #2 in the UK Top 40 charts and Billboard Hot 100 #1 in the USA the song stayed in the top for many weeks.
